The Little Green Planet
Ian Kirkland
Never trust a man of pure intention.
Greed flows red as blood yet never runs dry,
And wealth will rule the world without exception.

Just once take money out of the equation,
Then lust and greed can’t put a man up high.
Never trust a man of pure intention.

Long have we been under its persuasion,
Since dawn of coin did man prepare to die
And wealth will rule the world without exception.

Not even justice saves our nation now.
Our trusted leaders chosen on a lie
Never trust a man of pure intention.

Oh how blind are we to bold deception:
Disguised from sight, lodged loosely in a lie,
And wealth will rule the world without exception.

To be free of these fears is a fiction,
So call me its author, and this my war cry:
If we trust a man of pure intention,
Then wealth will rule the world without exception.
